Hello, my name is Caleb Land (that’s right, the title of this blog is a pun!). I hope you like the scenic picture of my hometown mountains at the top of this page.
I graduated from Reinhardt College (now University!) with a B.A. in History and am creeping ever closer to finishing my education in Seminary, while also completing graduate coursework in Biblical Counseling. If I could hang out with anyone in history it would most likely be Benjamin Keach. If I could punch anyone in history it would be Chris Harrison (o.k., Hitler). If I could kiss anyone in history it would be my wife, of course.
I currently teach Biblical Worldview, counsel students and families from the Bible, and facilitate mentoring relationships, all at no cost, to local public school kids and families through the Gilmer Christian Learning Center in Ellijay, GA. I love reading just about anything good; from Philosophy, History, and Theology to Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Young Adult. I’m currently undertaking a project so nerdy that my wife might just might leave me. I’m reading every Hugo Award winning novel. I’ll write about them here, so follow along (or not).
